Great family atmosphere! I was excited to try the chile Colorado, but sadly they were out. The verde didn't disappoint in its place though- spicy but very rich. Looking forward to coming back to check out the rest of the menu.

After river rafting on the riverside river we were very hungry. We wanted Mexican food and found one in Fontana. We waited almost 50 minutes for our food. Everyone was getting cranky as they were very hungry. The bill was $78 for the 5 of us. What a shock because the two little grandchildren only ordered cheese nacho's. The cheese was so hard they couldn't eat the meal. One of them ordered more salsa to add and they were charged $2.95 for it. Our enchiladas were just a bit of corn meal and not much meat. We love mexican food and usually it's always quite well done. This was not. Pick another mexican restaurant in Fontana except for Asaderos. The only reason why I put 1 star is because there's no negative stars.

I use to honestly love that place to eat, when Leo was our server, although the owner is very nice and the food was always great, but lately the other server she seemed dismissive, I complained the rice was stale and hard almost chipped tooth not joke and the beans tasted like it went bad and burned and what are the odds the cheese wasn't even melted... I'm like wtf the food did not look appealing at all when first placed on the table. Really disappointed..BTW she said she cooked it. I'm like oookay. I think she didn't make a ticket so she can pocket the money. I usually give great tips, but there was no way. she seen that we barely touched it, and charged us aparty of 3 full price over $70 bucks.I use go there at least once a week for years...I tried to give her another chance and the saga continues. I'm not going to be a glutton for punishment, so we Dont go there anymore! Its unfortunate we use to love that place.
